NEWS Incroci-Albero d'Oro youth prize

Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro in collaboration with the International Festival of Literature in Venice Incroci di Civiltà has created the Incroci-Albero d'Oro Youth Prize, dedicated to authors under 40.

The winner of the prize will be able to spend a four-week residency period at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani di San Polo, a historic 16th-century residence overlooking the Grand Canal and home of Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro. With this prize, Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro intends to pursue its institutional mission, i.e. to make Palazzo Vendramin Grimani a living space, open to contemporary exchange and creation in close collaboration with the actors of the cultural and academic life of the city of Venice.

On the occasion of the 17th edition of the festival, the Premio Giovani Incroci-Albero d'Oro 2024 is awarded to the French writer, journalist and photojournalist Emilienne Malfatto.
