Patrick Tournebœuf is the first artist to whom Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro commissioned the creation of a photographic series with the aim of immortalizing the metamorphosis of the historic home - during and after the restoration - following the aesthetic specific to the photographer.

Patrick Tournebœuf's approach, resolutely plastic and systematic, demonstrates a perception that is both subtle and balanced of the relationship established between human beings and their surroundings: his works question the identity of places with force and a spirit of synthesis presupposing choices of radical framing and an assertive construction of the point of view.

For Patrick Tournebœuf, constructing the image amounts to reflecting on the ambiguous relationship that links reality to its representation; his images, in fact, conceal a look devoid of composition and effect.
